FUNDING PROCESS
United Way of Amarillo & Canyon invests local dollars in the community through our allocation process. Our volunteer lead councils fund programs who meet community needs aligned with our goal of reducing poverty and building an educated workforce. We invest in high-performing programs and services which fight for the health, education, financial stability, and basic needs of everyone in the community.
Organizations requesting funding must:
- Serve Amarillo & Canyon residents
- Have an active board of trustees
- Adhere to ethical standards
- Provide evidence of financial accountability
United Way of Amarillo & Canyon does not fund:
- Organizations that discriminate on the basis of race, age, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, ethnicity or national origin
- Political causes, candidates, organizations or campaign
How do I receive united way funding?
